Old Etonian Housing Association LTD
Dedicated to providing secure, affordable housing for teachers in local schools – supporting stability for essential public services.
Old Etonian Housing Association (OEHA) was established in 1937 with the mission of providing housing for workers living in overcrowded urban areas. The name reflects its founding by former pupils of Eton College.
Over the years, OEHA has remained committed to addressing housing needs within the community, with a particular focus on supporting teachers working in the London Borough of Islington. We recognise the essential role that educators play in society and aim to offer them stable, well-maintained homes close to their places of work.
Today, OEHA provides housing for 55 tenants. Forty residents live in Eton House, a substantial residential building located in Highbury, while the remaining tenants are accommodated in smaller housing developments.
Our Work is Guided by a Clear Belief:
Affordable, high-quality homes should be available to educators and other key workers—close to where they live and serve.
Partnerships with educational institutions, local authorities, and housing stakeholders are essential to delivering innovative and sustainable housing solutions.
Creating supportive, inclusive communities contributes to stronger connections, improved well-being, and more cohesive neighbourhoods.
Secure and stable housing enables educators to focus on what matters most—shaping future generations.
A commitment to transparency, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement forms the foundation for service excellence.
